Welcome to the CometV2 Documentation
Whether you are a seasoned developer building custom modules or getting started with the client interface, this documentation serves as your complete handbook for navigating the CometV2 platform, APIs, and client systems.
To kickstart your experience, download the official client from your Panel Dashboard and authenticate using your registered license credentials.
Core Architectural Features
- Zero Impact On Live Performance: Highly optimized lightweight architecture with fast memory allocation.
- OverPowerd CometV2 API: Can Be Used To Strengthen/Improve Your Client A Well As Your Plugins.
- Built-in Scripting Engine: Full native binding suite with thread-safe execution handles.
Environment Setup
CometV2 requires a standard Windows 64-bit environment (Windows 11) with modern runtime dependencies installed.
System Prerequisites
Plugins
Plugins are a unique way to extend CometV2 with custom features, overlays, and custom automated routines.
- In order to load a plugin, enabling Experimental Mode is required.
- You can give plugins access to your computer in the Plugins Settings tab:
- Public access: Gives access to specific directories you define.
- Local access: Gives access to the CometV2 root directory.
- Plugin files must have the
.cp(CometPlugin) extension to be loaded by the engine. - Changin Your Default Plugin Tab Can Be Done With
main.plugin.tab.name =NameHereMost Be At The Top Of Your Code
Window Creation
Windows and custom tabs are created using the built-in addnw function inside your CometPlugin scripts.
Defines how the window is rendered:
type=create.tab— Creates a brand new custom tab in the chosen location.type=tab— Currently in progress, functions identically to create.tab.
Defines where your window will be located. By default, windows reside in the plugin tab root. You can specify a custom sub-path or leave it blank / None.
Sets the title of the tab (e.g. name="MyTab"). This parameter is required; omitting it will trigger a validation error.
Sets the ordering tier in the sidebar: tier=1 places it at the top, while tier=4 places it fourth in order.
